 What are word ladders?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A word ladder is a simple tool ideal for students in Kindergarten through second grade, used to connect phonemic awareness to phonics skills. They are a sequence of words where, on each rung of the ladder, one sound or pattern is replaced at a time to make a new word.
